New Leadership Appointments to Expand Brand, Agency and Programmatic Partnerships in the US
As we look to accelerate adoption of our new branding platform, Onyx by Outbrain™ and deepen relationships with programmatic partners, I’m pleased to announce new strategic appointments for the North American market.
Andrew Furman, long-time Outbrain sales leader, has been promoted to General Manager, US. Furman has over 20 years of advertising and sales management experience and served in a variety of leadership roles at Outbrain over the past 12 years, most recently as Senior Vice President, North America sales. He’s spent his career consulting brands and agencies on how they can successfully leverage cutting-edge digital strategies to strengthen relationships throughout the entire consumer journey. In this new role, he will be responsible for leading the US sales and account management teams and educating marketers on how best to optimize spend toward high-attention environments.
In addition, Erika Longoria and Jackie Carroll have been appointed VP, Demand Partnerships and VP, US Agency Sales, respectively.
Longoria is a seasoned media leader with over 10 years of experience in the digital advertising industry and brings a wealth of knowledge about the SSP landscape. She has worked for many global ad tech companies such as Magnite (previously Rubicon Project), Index Exchange, and Samsung Ads. At Outbrain, Longoria oversees the Global Demand Partnerships business strategy and is responsible for growing programmatic ad spend through the Oubtrain SSP. She now leads a global team responsible for both new business and managing the growth of existing partnerships worldwide with DSPs and SSPs.
Carroll has 20 years of media experience, 15 of which she spent at holding companies, including Starcom and OMD, leading key planning workstreams and building strategic direction across teams and clients. She joins Outbrain from Viant Technology where as Vice President of Agency Partnerships, she was responsible for positioning Viant as a trusted advisor to key agency stakeholders and decision makers. In her new role, she will lead agency sales and team development, focusing on building deeper relationships with agencies looking to enhance their outcome-driven media across every stage of the funnel.
Together with the rest of the Oubtrain team, I look forward to what Erika, Jackie, and Andrew will accomplish in their new roles as we focus to maximize business impact of awareness and consideration campaigns with Onyx – an environment that brands can rely on to drive incremental, high-attention moments. Our team represents a key group of dynamic leaders with a deep understanding of the needs of our partners and clients and the evolving industry. I am confident that they will play a critical role in our continued growth and success.
