That’s why we’re pleased to announce the launch of our new image editing feature giving you the control to select, upload and test images that will appear alongside your content recommendations across our network of publisher sites.
If you don’t have existing images in your content, you can now add images to your titles and create additional recommendation options to improve your campaign performance and reach.
Remember, pics get clicks! Outbrain’s data analysis showed readers are attracted to content with images. Thumbnail images worked better than logos and increased clickthrough rates by 27%. So wherever you can, add images to accompany your titles and content.
When adding images, consider these tips:
-Select an image that is relevant to your content
-Make sure your image is legible and grabs attention
-Go for bold images instead of images using small text or logos
-Opt for 400 x 400 images if possible, to avoid having your image cropped incorrectly
