Anthony (Ant) Hearne leads the Global Sales Marketing efforts at Outbrain from its U.S. headquarters in New York. An experienced member of Outbrain’s Executive team he joined the Content Discovery leader as the Regional Director, SEA, India & New Markets in 2012 and was responsible for setting the business on a strong path to growth and founding its territories across Asia. Now part of the global marketing team he is responsible for expanding the company’s global sales marketing efforts and ensuring that a consistent and impactful story is delivered across all customer touch points. Ant has more than 20 years experience leading various aspects of marketing across agency, client and publisher businesses and prior to joining Outbrain, he was the Marketing Director, Paid Content at News Corp in Australia. Previously he spent seven years at SingTel Optus in a variety of roles that included running consumer marketing for SingTel Optus’, Marketing Director at Virgin Mobile Australia and as Managing Director of a substantial subsidiary distribution business. Ant is a proven business leader, digital marketing influencer and founding member of ACMA (Asia Content Marketing Association). Ant lives in New York with his wife and young family and outside of work his passions include rugby and surfing.
