Outbrain Programmatic Access with AppNexus

As part of Outbrain’s ongoing commitment to our customers, we are always looking for ways to deliver new opportunities to improve our customers’ experience with our platform. That’s why we are so excited to roll out the new Outbrain Programmatic Access (OPA) service—and to name AppNexus, the world’s top independent ad tech company, as our first strategic launch partner.

Until today, as the world’s leading premium discovery platform, we have operated as a closed marketplace. However, we know that there are some media teams who have their own tech stack and unique data sets that they want to leverage for specific audience buys. And we also know that many media teams are interested in executing all display and native buys programmatically from one platform. Now, with the OPA program, these media teams have this capability.

Programmatic buyers can use AppNexus to bid on our inventory on a CPM basis and leverage their own data and technology to access their audiences in a native way. Overall, we feel this partnership is yet another example of our commitment to and investment in our customers, offering media teams more flexibility and options to reach their goals.

We will continue to share news of our growth plans as they unfold.
