Nic Paul is head of Automatic Yield at Outbrain. His responsibilities are to lead the full integration of the Automatic Yield technology into the Outbrain Amplify and Engage platforms and to build a new Automatic Yield Data licensing product for Publishers. The goal is to apply Automatic Yield (real-time revenue) decisions to every content serving mechanism. Prior to the Outbrain acquisition, Nic was the CEO and Co-Founder of Revee, a proprietary yield analytics software that delivers holistic monetary value of every unique page (content) published to the web. With his 10+ year career in digital media and publishing, it was with this experience that he saw a need to actionable data as it pertains to content yield and monetization. Prior to founding Revee, Nic was Senior Vice President, Publisher of Entertainment at Penske Media Corporation (PMC) which operates several of the most successful websites in the entertainment industry including Deadline Hollywood, Variety, TV|Line, HollywoodLife and Movie|Line. Throughout his 5 years at PMC, Nic had a wide range of responsibilities including overseeing all the advertising revenue across PMC’s various entertainment publications. Before joining PMC, Nic was Head of Digital at Variety. In this position, he was responsible for global online and digital partnership revenue, which increased significantly during his tenure.
