Customize Columns: what metrics are available?
By selecting the “Customize Columns” option at the top right hand side of the grid view in the Performance Report, you are able to add/remove additional fields of data. Ensure to select apply to update the default data columns that you wish to appear within your grid view.
Here are more details on the available metrics:
PAGE VIEWS
- Page Views : Total pageviews with one or more Outbrain links.
- Paid Pageviews: Total pageviews with one or more Outbrain paid links (sponsored contents displayed via Outbrain widgets).
- Organic Pageviews: Total pageviews with one or more Outbrain organic links (editorial contents from the publisher displayed via the Outbrain widgets).
- Opt-in Rate: % of traffic where users are opted in (eligible for personalization) and gave consent if required based on their geo location. It means the user gave its consent for the site to use its personal data and that Outbrain is opted-in as a third party provider allowed to use such data to serve personalized recommendations.
REVENUE & RPM
- Revenue: Net revenue generated from Outbrain’s paid links
- RPM: Revenue per thousand Outbrain paid pageviews (= for thousand impressions of the Outbrain widget)
VIEWABILITY (available for breakdown by widget only)
- vRPM : Revenue per one thousand Outbrain paid in-view requests. In view means that more than 50% of any listing from the widget is in the user viewport.
- vCTR: Total clicks divided by total in-view request.
- Paid vCTR: Number of paid clicks divided by in-view paid requests.
- Organic vCTR: Number of organic clicks divided by in-view organic requests.
- Viewability Rate: Percent of total requests with more than 50% of the pixels in a single listing within the viewport.
- Paid Viewability: Percent of paid requests with paid widget in-view.
- Organic Viewability Rate: Percent of organic requests with organic widget in-view
PAGES VIEWS
- Page views: Total pageviews with one or more Outbrain links.
- Paid page views: Total pageviews with one or more Outbrain paid links (sponsored contents displayed via Outbrain widgets).

CLICKS
- Total Clicks: Total number of clicks on the Outbrain widgets (Paid clicks plus Organic clicks).
- Paid Clicks: Total clicks on Outbrain paid links.
- Organic Clicks: Total clicks on Outbrain organic links.
CTR
- Total CTR: Number of clicks divided by pageviews.
- Paid CTR: Number of paid clicks divided by paid pageviews.
- Organic CTR: Number of organic clicks divided by organic pageviews.
VIDEO
- Video revenue: Net revenue generated from the Video demand.
- Video Plays: Number of videos that were played on the site/widget.
- Video RPM: Video revenue per thousand widget impressions.
AUDIENCE CAMPAIGNS (AC)
- AC impressions: Number of Audience Campaigns listings that were served. This is the total number of AC listings (for all live campaigns) served within the Outbrain placements for the selected period.
- AC Clicks: The total number of clicks on Audience Campaigns.
- AC CTR: Number of AC clicks divided by AC impressions.
- Core oCTR: Number of core organic clicks divided by core organic listings (organic clicks and listings that aren’t derived from Audience Campaigns). It allows an easy comparison with the AC CTR to evaluate if Audience Campaigns are negatively impacting the core performances.
