Yaron Galai (blog):
Yaron Galai is the Co-Founder and CEO. Prior to founding Outbrain, Mr. Galai was Co-Founder, SVP of Quigo, Inc. (www.quigo.com), a provider of performance-based marketing solutions for advertisers and premium publishers. He previously served as the CEO of the company for three years. Quigo was acquired by AOL in December 2007. Previously, Mr. Galai was Co-Founder & VP Business Development at Ad4ever, a developer of rich-media advertising technologies for the web which was later acquired by Atlas (a division of aQuantive - www.aquantive.com). Earlier, he was the Founder of NetWorks Web Design - an SEO and web design firm. At NetWorks he oversaw the production and search engine optimization of over 30 websites. Mr. Galai studied industrial design at the Holon Technological Institute, and is a Major (reserve) officer in the Israel Navy.
Ori Lahav (blog):
Ori Lahav is a Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer. Ori oversees the R&D center for the company located in the heart of Israel's technology center. Ori's duties include responsibility for all technical aspects of the company including algorithmic design and product innovation. Prior to founding Outbrain, Ori lead the R&D groups at Shopping.com (acquired by eBay) in search and classification. Before joining the internet revolution Ori lead the video streaming Server Group at Vsoft. A practical engineer from the Rupin Academic Institute Ori is also a Major (reserve) officer in the Israeli Navy. He resides in Israel with his family and enjoys sailing and sea-kayaking.
David Sasson:
David is Chief Operating Office of Outbrain, based in New York. Prior to joining Outbrain, David was COO of Quigo Technologies, Inc. which was acquired by AOL in December 2007. At Quigo, David led the FeedPoint/SEM division along with Quigo's product management teams. Before joining Quigo in 2004, David was Vice President of Advertising at Juno Online Services (later part of United Online), where he developed new advertising technologies and managed client services. David was also co-founder of Advocacy Inc., a leading interactive agency for political campaigns, congressional offices and issue advocacy. David graduated with high honors from Haverford College and now lives in New York city with his wife Gabrielle and two kids, Adina and Benjamin.
Itai Hochman:
Itai is the VP of engineering of Outbrain, based in Israel. Prior to Joining Outbrain, Itai was Director of R&D at Schema Ltd a leading provider of multi-vendor RAN optimization & analysis solutions, and premium services for wireless operators. Prior joining Schema in 2003, Itai held various management roles at Bandwiz and VSoft. Itai holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA degree both from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He resides in Israel with his wife Ruthi and four kids.
John LoGioco (blog):
John LoGioco is Vice President, Business Development for Outbrain Inc. in New York. John is responsible for creating strategic partnerships for the company across all channels. Prior to joining Outbrain, John held sales and management positions with Time Inc. and Reuters in New York, Los Angeles and South Florida. Working with top brands and advertising agencies, John focused on delivering digital solutions both in the consumer and enterprise sectors. Before crossing over to the sales side, John started his career in the media department of ad agency, Ammirati & Puris in New York. An honors graduate from the University of Colorado, John resides in New Jersey with his wife Arline and 2 sons.
