The outbrain widget is free and very simple to install. After the one click install process (on most blog platforms), you will see a 5-star rating widget located at the bottom of each post you publish.
- New! We now have a thumbnail widget (beta) that lets you show thumbnail images with your recommended links. You can see it here. If you want to try it out, make sure to register. When you log into Outbrain, you can then set your widget style to "thumbnail".

STEP 1: Register (optional)I want to register with outbrain so that I can access advanced settings and get reports for my blog.

STEP 2: Add widget
To add rating functionality to your RSS feed, simply:
- Go to your FeedFlare dashboard (choose Optimize -> FeedFlare from the FeedBurner dashboard).
- At the bottom of the drop-down menu there is a section called "Personal FeedFlare" with a text box.
- Paste the following URL into that text box: http://widgets.outbrain.com/FeedFlareUnit.xml and click "Add New Flare".
- Next to "Outbrain Rating", check the box for Feed and/or Site according to your preferences.
- Don't forget to press "Save" at the bottom of the page. Thats it!
