The Race To Build 100 Wells With charity: water

At its most basic level, we know water is the source of life. It’s not something we tend to think about day to day when we turn on the tap or chat by the water cooler. Yet 800 million people (one in nine people) in our world don’t have access to water, the most basic of human needs.

In Africa alone, 40 billion hours are spent every year by Africans walking for water, usually women and children. Even once this water is collected, diseases from unsafe water and lack of sanitation kill more people than war and all forms of violence combined.

That’s why this holiday season, we are partnering with charity: water to help bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. We have donated $15,000 on behalf of our clients to help charity:water build a new well.

We know charity: water would love your support too. They’re on a mission to build 100 wells this holiday. If you’d like to find out more, check out our holiday page here.

And in the spirit of sharing great content with a good cause, here’s more on charity:water and how they are building 100 wells for the holidays.
