It’s yet another exciting week for the Outbrain team here in Europe, as we announce that Outbrain Sweden is officially open for business. The Swedish launch is the second European launch in the space of a month and follows rapid expansion in France, Spain and Italy.
Joining the European team to head-up the Swedish operation is Magnus Johansson. Magnus and his in-market team are perfectly placed to drive success on the ground, using their grass roots knowledge of the vibrant Swedish market to support and respond to the growing demand from both large and small publishers.
And they are off to a flying start… partnering with several forward-thinking Swedish publishers including: SvD, Västerbottens-Kuriren, IDG and Fokus. Amongst those who are seen to be leading the content marketing charge, they are using Outbrain to power discovery across a wide array of media and to amplify their content to drive increased on-site engagement.
We know from the response that we are seeing from customers and brand leaders across the industry that content owners and marketers are really waking up to the value that quality content and content marketing can afford them. And the year ahead looks to be one filled with opportunity – according to our recent Econsultancy research of marketers across Europe, more than 90% of respondents predicted that content marketing will increase in importance over the next 12 months.
