What are you most excited about in the digital marketing space at the moment?
In a couple of words, convergence and causation. I’m really excited about the melding of art and science, commerce and content, strategy and optimisation.

Earlier this year, 3QDigital Founder and CEO David Rodnitzky wrote that Outbrain CEO Yaron Galai “has made online advertising better for all of us.” And it’s true. Before Google AdWords even existed in its current iteration, Outbrain was serving relevant content across the web, and continues to distribute content on CNN, Fox News, Hachette Filipacchi Media, Mashable, MSNBC, and Slate.

The promise of content marketing is the astounding ability to provide value to your audience, help them find great advice and entertain them. In order to do so successfully, we need to adjust and react to insights provided by data. But in order to make those adjustments, we need to ensure that we’re actually measuring the right indicators and not creating strategy based on arbitrary numbers.
